  • "Avurudu Pola" organised by the OGA
  • 1992
  • 75th anniversary celebrations - School Exhibition, Re-staging of "Visakha Geetha Natakaya", Trade & Fun fair at The Sathutu Uyana, Colombo.
  • 1993
  • A second modern computer unit was donated to the school by the Association.
  • 1997
  • Felicitation for the members over 70 years, to celebrate the twin anniversary of the school being named as Visakha Vidyalaya and its relocation at Vajira Road.
  • 1998
  • The Visakha Vidyalaya website - www.visakhav.org - was launched on Independence Day, 04th February, and mainly funded by the old girls in the USA. This website is widely accessed and has enhanced communication between old girls.
  • The hit musical 'Fiddler on the Roof' had a successful three night run at the Lionel Wendt Theatre from June 05 - 07.
  • Establishment of the Clara Motwani Welfare Fund for the benefit of the staff.
  • The Visakha Vidyalaya archives were established by the OGA and declared open by Mrs. M.N. Edussuriya on her last day of office as principal.
  • 2001
  • Agatha Christie's 'Mousetrap" staged at the Lionel Wendt.
  • 2002
  • The first ever 'Visakhians in Concert' was staged at the Jeremias Dias hall where the old girls presented an evening of music song and dance.
  • 2003
  • On August 24th was a gala dinner theatre '30 Days in September', an outdoor extravaganza on the lawns of the Taj Samudra.
  • 2004
  • Giving a helping hand to computer education at Visakha, the OGA donated a state-of-the-art computer centre to school on 01st Dec.
  • 2005
  • The OGA air-conditioned the Geethanjali Amarasuriya Memorial Library.
