Colours Night 2011
The colours awarding ceremony of Visakha Vidyalaya was held at the school’s Jeremias Dias Hall on 02nd of August 2011 from 5.00p.m onwards. The Secretary Defence Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa graced this occasion with his presence as the Chief Guest and Mr. Kumar Sangakkara, former Captain of Sri Lanka Cricket team was the Guest of Honour.
The year 2010 has been an exceptional year for VisakhaVidyalaya in the fields of sports as several champions and school record holdershave blossomed during this period.
More than 250 students including 76 colour winners who have excelled in sports and co-curricular activities received awards at this glamorous event.
